About this event

We’re inviting leaders from Google Cloud to guide developers on how to build analytics lakehouses, analytics pipelines, and more! Network with your local developer community and enjoy food and drinks on us. 
Get inspired, learn something new, and connect with other community members and Googlers at one of our local events. 2Gather is to unite with the C2C community. It’s an opportunity to learn from leaders and network in person. It’s also a time to sit back, relax, and get to know your peers.

Defining an analytics lakehouse and how to set one up

8:30 PM	Setting Up Our Lakehouse on Google	Jason Davenport, Head of Advocacy for Data Analytics, Google Cloud - Get started by setting up your first lakehouse. This session will focus on how developers build a lakehouse and the considerations important to the process. At the end of the session, participants will have built a working lakehouse that developers can use as a playground.
9:15 PM	Event-Driven Architectures and Real-Time Data Analytics	Learn about why event-driven architectures are the future of real-time analytics pipelines and how you can get more value from your data by taking action on it when it’s generated.
9:45 PM	Building in ML and Real-Time Feedback from Lakehouse to Your App	Jason Davenport, Head of Advocacy for Data Analytics, Google Cloud - Build your first real time pipeline to see how simple it can be. This session will focus on creating a pipeline that can use an ML model in real time to provide predictions of a customer experience and serve it in low latency back to an application.
